Scientifically, Star Wars ships can't produce noise

When the Star Wars movies show ships zooming around space and making quite a bit of noise as they go, it's not scientifically correct.

Sound waves require a medium (water, rock, air, etc.) to travel. So, there would be no sound in space! The ships would move in silence.
